Just a note to warn people that there may be the occasional scammer who tries to sell something on here and since the staff aren't here 24/7 it can take a few hours before we come online to delete it.
So whatever you do don't send ANY money to anyone trying to sell you anything anywhere on the forum unless you see an ok from an admin, either myself or seo20.
We are planning on allowing members to sell their services in the future but when we do it will have its own dedicated section *and* you will always see a staff review.
So if you see anyone selling anything at all please report it immediately and feel free to post on the thread warning others not to send any money.

I'd like to share a great method that an old friend of mine uses to make $500-$600/week. He's been doing this for over a year and the last time I spoke to him around 2 months ago he was continuing to make money with this even after the Panda update. Since I've not seen him in a while I wasn't able to ask him if this would be ok but he owes me big time for some things I did for him last year so I know for a fact he'd be ok with me re-producing this for you guys to benefit from as it's impossible for this to get saturated.
I've used the method personally and made some money with it. It's not your usual "make $100000/day" type get rich quick crap. It requires a little hard work, some persistence and a little patience to get results with, but you WILL make some money with this that you can reinvest in other bigger projects so it's an excellent method for beginners or anyone currently struggling. Best of all this requires NO hosting, NO investment, NO proxies, NO software and NO special skills. Literally anyone can make this work. Enjoy.
The method at its core is promoting clickbank products with article marketing. There are many article directories you can use with one of the most widely known being ezinearticles but I'd recommend you avoid ezine as approval times can be long and it's not as strong as it once was in Google. I recommend using articlesbase just now but I would also do some reserach on the different article directories out there and try a few. See if you can find a hidden gem that works well for you. Learning to further develop and research an existing method is the key to success. Don't ever just take something and copy it exactly.
Articlesbase generally only takes a day or 2 to get your article approved and after a dozen approved articles they'll be auto-accepted.
Picking a Product to Promote on Clickbank
------------------------------------------------
The first thing we look at when deciding on a new product is the gravity. Higher gravity means the product is getting more sales but also means there's more affiliates promoting it and thus more competition is likely in Google. Technically the gravity is a weighted value ranging from 0.1-1 representing the number of distinct affiliates who got a sale in the past 8 weeks. When an affiliate gets a sale 1 is added and as time goes on if he doesn't get anymore sales the number goes down from 1 to 0.1. So the figure gives us a representation of the number of affiliates currently making sales with a product.
The general consensus among cb experts is that the sweet spot for gravity is between 100-200. But of course you can go for 200+ if you've found some targeted longtail keywords with very low competition or under 100 if you're convinced the sales page will convert well. It could be that the product is just new and other affiliates haven't latched on to it yet. The decision is up to you and adds more ways to twist things to make more profit.
Next we look at average %/sale. You want products with at least 60%, preferably 80%+ for this and at least $20 per sale commission. The reason for this is that if let's say the % is 40% for product 1 and it costs $100, product 2 is 80% and costs $50. You'll make the same commission on both, but product 2 is half the price of product 1 which means you'll get more sales.
So you've scanned over some products in a niche you like and you see one that matches the criterea above. Next visit the sales page and read over it.
Do you think it'll convert easily?
Do they offer good bonuses?
Does it look trustworthy?
Would you buy?
Do you think others would buy?
Does the site look professional?
Finding a Longtail Keyword for your Article Title
------------------------------------------------------------
Once you find a product you like the next step is keyword research. This is crucial and it's why most people fail when they try article marketing. You can't just create any old article, stick a title on it then put in your affiliate ilnk and expect it to magically get traffic. You have to load up the adwords keyword tool and input some base keywords related to your niche. (Tip: Make sure to log into your google account so you don't get a captcha and you get the full results)
You need to pick a longtail keyword that has low competition. This right here is the key to your success. If you don't pick the right keywords you won't rank on google and get traffic.
Pick a few longtails that look like they'll have low competition, ie, don't pick "make money online" or things that are clearly going to have competition. You only need to go for longtails that have 100+ searches per month because you'll be pumping out a few articles a day and once the article is done there's NO seo work, so if you have 50 articles done over the week on longtail keywords getting 100-200 searches per month then that's going to be at least 1000 hits to your article over the course of the month resulting in in 100 or so visits to the clickbank page and hopefully a handful of sales. Remembering that each week you're adding more and more articles so this residual income adds up.
It's simple to determine if a longtail keyword has low enough competition. Just google it. Look at the top 5 results. Is the title an exact match? What does the description say? Is it related to what you searched for? Basically you're just trying to determine how relevant the top 5 pages are to what you searched for. As a human this is easy. Here's an example
Let's take this longtail: "how to install linux on ipaq 5550"
If you search for that you can clearly see the top 5 results are loosely relevant to the longtail. You could easily write an article with that title and rank top 3.
Where-as if you search for "how to make money online" you can see the top 5 results are VERY relevant to the longtail.
What we care about here is RELEVANCE. We're not interested in the strength of the top 5 results(ie, backlinks, authority, PR).
We want to go after longtail keywords where the top 5 keywords aren't very relevant, or are only slightly relevant to the keyword.
You'll also want to check the competition of the following:
'product name scam'
'is product name a scam'
'product name review'
'product name reviews'
'product name author'
'author name scam'
You get the idea.. :-) Putting things like 'product name' and 'author name' into the adwords keyword tool will give you a bunch of suggestions too.
Also, make sure you uncheck "Broad" to the left and check "[Exact]" instead for more accurate search volume in the results.
Writing your Article

The best style for your article is a review style. The key here is making it a personal review. The human touch. Do NOT make it sound like a sales letter. Pretend that you're writing a review for a close friend and you're including your personal experiences/emotions. Include small negatives and immediately follow with a positive. This is a powerful marketing technique because people implicitly believe anything negative you say as absolute truth. For example let's say you're reviewing an ab workout and you want to convey that it's REALLY easy to do. You can't just say "The ab workout is SUPER easy!" -- Why? Because it sounds like you're a salesman and they won't believe your hype. Instead use a negative leading to a positive like this "One of the downfalls to this workout is that it feels TOO EASY and it doesn't feel like you're actually getting a workout but I was pleasantly surprised by week 2 when I could start to see my abs developing for the first time in my life." That actually conveys that the workout is both easy and that it has quick results. :-)
After you've written your review place your affiliate link at the bottom. Articlebase don't allow clickbank or several of the popular url shorteners like tinyurl so you'll need to use http://alturl.com. You'll be able to place the alturl that links to your cb product without any issues at all.
Extra Tip: You can also find existing reviews and spin them using our very own content spinner! I would recommend doing this in addition to writing your own articles. But DO NOT use the same author accounts for your quality articles as you do for your spun articles. Create SEPARATE accounts as you want your quality ones to last long-term. The spun articles can be used to get a larger quantity articles out quickly.
Conclusion

The key to this working is in QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY. Pick the right product, write a good review and pick a low competition keyword for your article title. Don't limit yourself to the IM niche. There are SO many untapped niches out there.
For ideas on different niches and potential markets go to a big magazine store and have a browse at the various niche market magazines. Look at the ads and get a feel for what people are buying in the niche.
Get additional traffic by building up twitter accounts with targeted followers and tweet your articles.
Get additional traffic by building facebook fan pages and sharing the articles!
For your author pic use a hot girl!
Keep developing your ideas and trying out different twists on this. There's so many ways you can go with the basic method.
