Could be from the latest minor panda update. They've got a habit of calling things 'minor' when they're actually not. They said the main panda update was minor too.

Back from our extremely brutal roller coaster ride!  So the wife is in the wide open clear getting better by the day MS is ruled out which is really awesome but during the trying time with us....our neighbor died of cancer last week Only one month ago she was feeling a little off 2 weeks to get a biop and another 2 weeks she is gone.  So quick so fast its mind boggling..... So things have been brutally sad in our parts lately.  I am grateful and happy my wife is going to be ok and you know what even if she had a really terrible illness just to have her with us is so much more important!  Life is just too short.

Glad to hear your wife is improving and everything is ok.

Shame about the neighbor, but I don't believe earth is the end of our journey so he/she will be somewhere fun on new adventures. :-)

So a little update from the last couple days she has lost most feeling again on her left side again even though on meds.  Gone for more testing today now testing for MS.  Keeping positive trying to keep her positive is tough

Sorry to hear that but it's good you're staying positive. That really is the best thing you can do for her. There's a tremendous amount of evidence out there of people overcoming things just by believing they will and the opposite being true, when people give up and are negative things get worse.

Just keep her feeling positive and keep reminding her of cases where this just disappears completely and never returns to people because of things like stress. If you make her mind believe it's a temporary thing then it's much more likely to go away and never return.

Our thoughts are with you.. Keep us updated on how things go, bro.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. We've gone with creating a new board called "The Executive Boardroom" and the new VIP class are "The Executives", colour purple and membergroup name "Executive Member".

So basically like the executives of a corporation and the boardroom is the main discussion place. :-)

I've got some people in mind for promotion but what I want to do is promote the first batch of you at the same time so I'm going to read through the entire forum and pick people based on the following factors:

1) Marketing experts. People who have been in the game for a while and are making a full time living from their business.
2) People with specialist knowledge. Ie, perhaps an expert programmer, or an expert at email marketing etc.
3) Some people I think are up and coming who are going to be (1)'s within the next year or 2.

So the purpose is for the more experienced to have a place to congregate and discuss ideas in a smaller environment where they can share more details with each other without risk of saturation etc with some room for some members who we believe are on their way to the top.

If you're among the first batch of people picked then you'll receive a pm from myself and you'll notice the new Executive Boardroom at the top of the board list on the main page when you login too. I'll also post a new thread listing the new Executives once they're picked and promoted.

If you think you belong in the Executives and would like to be in them but haven't been active on the forum now is your chance to show us why you belong there.

In the future entry to Executives is going to be by invite-only from the admins with nominations by moderators and existing Executives. But on this 1 occasion only I'm going to allow people to self-nominate, particularly the people who maybe haven't been so active and would like to bring themselves to my attention. If you want to self-nominate drop me a pm with a bit about yourself, your marketing experience and what you do(Not exact details of what you do, just something like "I do SEO and monetize by building lists and sending cb offers" will suffice).

By self-nominating what you're essentially doing is asking me to keep an eye on your posts for the next few days and if what I see tells me you're Executives material then you'll get your invite.

I'm really excited about this, guys. This is going to be the best 'VIP' section of any on the Internet and there's going to be some fantastic stuff happening inside it over the coming months! Especially with people like seo20 on board, his secret shares alone make a board the best. :-)

That's fantastic. Dancing on page 1 is *really* good! Most when their sites dance it's across much wider ranges which means there's something google doesn't like about their sites.

Since you're dancing on page 1 it tells you that everything must be pretty strong and google is happy with your sites.

The Boardroom is pretty cool. Maybe The Executive Boardroom ?

I like The Situation Room too. I think I'll rename the staff board to that! :-)

Could always have a lower VIP area called "The Apprentice Boardroom" or something too with that theme.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. We'll have a chat in the new Situation Room(hehe) and decide what we're going to use and who'll be getting the first invites soon!

The best way to go about this would be to get a hold of a copy of one of the speech to text programs (Dragon Naturally Speaking, etc.) and spend the time to train it properly.  Using this sort of setup, you could crank out articles pretty quickly and could easily get to the $1/minute range.

Hehe. I don't think you could get to $1/minute!!

I can type up to 160wpm, comfortably around 120-130 for long periods and I can't pump out articles that fast.

You could type $1/minute of junk for 60 minutes, but when doing an article you tend to write, then stop, think, write some more and a good chunk of the time is research.

Anyone paying over $1/100 words, even though that's still low, is looking for a proper article so realistically if you can type reasonably fast you'd be looking at 2x 500 word articles per hour or $10/hr.

Text to speech programs are awful anyway. You should just learn to touch type. :-)

Hi Everyone,

We want to create a new VIP section here at RTP. It's going to be invite-only with the goal of having around 50-100 people max when the forum grows.

We don't want to call it "VIP" as that's boring and all the forums call their private area "VIP". Now I don't want to come up with some fancy-pants name that I think is the coolest thing since sliced bread but the majority think "WTF?" :-)

For that reason I'd love to hear some of your thoughts on what you think a fun, appropriate name for a VIP area would be. You don't have to have an EXACT name idea, this is just a brainstorming thread so feel free to just share what's on your mind. My thoughts on it are:

I'm picturing in my head an image of a dark backroom at a club. I can see a big round table in the middle(Too much Merlin on tv? lol) the air is slightly hazey, but there's no smoking allowed, so it's not smoke. The table is surrounded by big black executive chairs. It has a sort of 1920's theme but with mod-cons like the comfy chairs.

That's the image I'm personally thinking would be cool to convey with the name of the VIP section. So something like "The Backroom" or "The Club" but the problem with those are I'm not sure if it really tells people it's a VIP zone?

What do you guys think? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
