I don't know how common this is around the US, but one of the local TV stations has 1/2 deals (sort of a groupon deal) on their site - ranging from restaurants to salons to regular retail.  Now, these businesses are pretty targeted as they are trying to use online to generate business, so you could hit them with everything that you've got and they should be pretty receptive.  Just thought that might help someone out

Sorry if I wasn't clear...this is the website for the local channel.  I was just offering it up as a source of businesses that are interested in reaching people on the internet and willing to cough up the dollars to do it.
