Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. We've gone with creating a new board called "The Executive Boardroom" and the new VIP class are "The Executives", colour purple and membergroup name "Executive Member".
So basically like the executives of a corporation and the boardroom is the main discussion place. :-)
I've got some people in mind for promotion but what I want to do is promote the first batch of you at the same time so I'm going to read through the entire forum and pick people based on the following factors:
1) Marketing experts. People who have been in the game for a while and are making a full time living from their business.
2) People with specialist knowledge. Ie, perhaps an expert programmer, or an expert at email marketing etc.
3) Some people I think are up and coming who are going to be (1)'s within the next year or 2.
So the purpose is for the more experienced to have a place to congregate and discuss ideas in a smaller environment where they can share more details with each other without risk of saturation etc with some room for some members who we believe are on their way to the top.
If you're among the first batch of people picked then you'll receive a pm from myself and you'll notice the new Executive Boardroom at the top of the board list on the main page when you login too. I'll also post a new thread listing the new Executives once they're picked and promoted.
If you think you belong in the Executives and would like to be in them but haven't been active on the forum now is your chance to show us why you belong there.
In the future entry to Executives is going to be by invite-only from the admins with nominations by moderators and existing Executives. But on this 1 occasion only I'm going to allow people to self-nominate, particularly the people who maybe haven't been so active and would like to bring themselves to my attention. If you want to self-nominate drop me a pm with a bit about yourself, your marketing experience and what you do(Not exact details of what you do, just something like "I do SEO and monetize by building lists and sending cb offers" will suffice).
By self-nominating what you're essentially doing is asking me to keep an eye on your posts for the next few days and if what I see tells me you're Executives material then you'll get your invite.
I'm really excited about this, guys. This is going to be the best 'VIP' section of any on the Internet and there's going to be some fantastic stuff happening inside it over the coming months! Especially with people like seo20 on board, his secret shares alone make a board the best. :-)
