Clickbank
« on: October 21, 2011, 09:56:54 pm »
Hi guys! Wanted to hear about your experiences with Clickbank. 8)

Anyone making a living off it?

Here is mine - this was the very first online money making method I heard of. It sounded amazing, just chose a product you want to advertise and set up a WP web page. Wait 24-48 hours and you're rich.

Needles to say I'm still waiting to get rich a year later. But really I did manage to make some $$ on it only it was not as half as simple as the books out there claimed.

Now that being said I do have a very good money making tip - promote products in foreign languages (Deutschland, French, Italian etc). There is a lot less competition and you can still make some good money form it.

I've considered CB a couple of times, but I've never been able to find a product that just didn't strike me as junk.  Probably just being jaded from seeing the other side of things...I have that problem with a lot of IM stuff...

Regarding the foreign markets, do you advertise in the local language or just go with English?  Are you promoting region specific products, or just counting on them being able to understand English?

The key to succeeding in clickbank is selecting the right product & then marketing it via the forums like dp .

I advertise in the local language - if it's not my primary or I'm not good at writing I hire some students who create the content for me. They basically just translate the Engl. content to the language I want to promote it - simple and cheap job.

Good products that are over saturated on English speaking market like money making, pet tips, ex back and relationship advice are actually translated in a lot of languages. French, Spanish, Dutch, German, Italian etc. browse through CB database and you'll see a flag below the product marking the languages that the product has been translated to

I make a very nice income from clickbank. You will struggle if you use forums for income. You need to look for a product that does not have a crazy high gravity and see if you can rank a few terms via seo. If you can get high search engine placements then you will have longterm organic traffic and thus create a very stable income. Then you just need to ramp up and save up for a range rover ;)

How long did it take you to get some stable income from CB?

Well before panda rolled out I had a stable income within a month. I had soo many articles out there it was crazy. I mean probably thousands. After panda I simply took the data of what keywords were ranking and then built websites and shot for those terms. After panda that took about 3 months of solid work but it def paid off.

I don't like CB in general because most of the products are the ones which I would not buy. Always remember don't sell stuff which you would not buy :D

Well I promote niches that many people want but there is no competition for. Takes a bit to research but it is well worth it.
